Behind the Lens: Meet Amy

We were so excited to work with Amy for one of our photo shoots. She's not an easy women to catch given that she's the mother of a 2, 5 and 8 year old and owner of a painting and restoration company in addition to being a model! We love the energy she brought to the shoot and had to sit down to find out more about this super women. Here is a behind the scenes video of our shoot and an interview with Amy. Enjoy!

What is a typical day like for you?
A typical day is get up early get the kids ready for school get them there, go to the gym some days, run errands and then come back and do some work around the house as well as getting some office work in for our business then prep or at least think of something for dinner, pick the kids up, eat and then some reading or homework maybe some laundry, pretty much the same everyday.

Where's your hometown and how would you describe it?
My hometown is White Bear Lake which is great it has its own little down town with some great shopping and restaurants a destination lake a few blocks away with a small town feel but not actually too small and we are not far from St Paul or Minneapolis.

What's your tip for balancing work and motherhood? 
I am not sure If I always know how to balance my life, but efficiency and organization is what works the best, but there are always some curve balls thrown in when you have kids.

Whats's one beauty regime/product you think is a must? 
Product - good face lotion and drinking water all day.

Any advice for aspiring models?
You just have to try and keep trying it may take months or years before you get a job but you certainly gain a lot of experience that transcends into other areas in your life and always be positive.
